Join the Fun!
Summer is a special time for children. Your child can join in the fun at MCPC's Preschool Summer Camp or Turtle Summer Camp and enjoy art, music, climbing, games, and circle time in a safe and fun atmosphere.

Preschool Summer Camp
MCPC operates as a parent cooperative during the school year, but opens its doors to the children of the community for its annual Summer Camp. A maximum of 24 children, ages 3.5 to 5.5 years, may enroll in each session. Previous outside care experience is required.

Location
MCPC is located at 5815 Thornhill Drive, approximately 3 blocks east of the Thornhill/Moraga exit off Highway 13 and across the street from Thornhill Elementary School.

Session I - Build, Construct, Create!
Three-Week Program begins in mid-June
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Construct with many different types of materials - we will be limited only by our imaginations. Long term and cooperative projects will be encouraged. We'll foster creative, cognitive, social, emotional and fine motor development with our creations.

Session II - Water All Around Us!
Three-Week Program from June into July
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Explore the wonderful world of water with hands, feet and all five senses. We'll pour, measure, splash, mix, spray, cook, create rivers and lakes, and have lots of fun. Let's get wet!

Teachers
MCPC's Summer Camp will be taught by two talented women, both of whom are parents as well as experienced teachers. Susana Ortega-Sanchez, MCPC's Director, will be the head teacher. Susana has been teaching preschool children for more than 25 years. For the eleventh year, Susana will be joined by Marilyn Ichioka, Director of Piedmont Play School. Susana & Marilyn will be assisted by 2 teaching aides each day.

Refund Policy
Tuition is refundable up to two weeks prior to class start date, less a non-refundable registration fee.
