Admissions

MCPC welcomes diversity in race, gender, religion, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, and physical ability. Enrollment is limited to 25 children, and we strive to create a balanced mix of boys and girls of different ages.

We serve the needs of children during the two years prior to kindergarten. A child is eligible to begin preschool if s/he reaches three before September 1st of the school year.

Interested parents should attend our Parent Information Night in January, where they will be able to sign up for a school tour.

Parent Information Night
MCPC's Parent Information Night is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday in January of each year. The Parent Information Night is held at the school, 5815 Thornhill Drive in Oakland. Prospective parents of children seeking to enter MCPC in September of the same year, are encouraged to attend this event. No reservation is required.

School Tours • Required
Parents interested in submitting an enrollment application must first tour the school with their child. Enrollment applications are distributed at the end of each tour. Tours are scheduled during the month of February from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, while the preschool is in session.

Lottery
Enrollment applications are due in March. Our enrollment lottery takes place shortly after the application deadline.

Tuition & Deposits
Tuition for the 2009-10 school year is $330 per month for ten months, September through June. A non-refundable deposit equal to one month's tuition is required on acceptance. The deposit will be applied towards tuition in June of your second year.

Please anticipate an increase in tuition, fees and deposits of approximately 6% per year.
